Today on January 4th, in Human Geography class we continued to learn about the 5 major religions.
Christianity- 31.4%
Islam- 23.2%
Hinduism- 15%
Buddhism- 7.1%
Judaism- 0.2%
These top 5 major religions each have then own population percentage which is the number of people that follow and believe in that religion.
We also looked at another website called adherence.com to compare the numbers to the Cia world factbook and the numbers from the website were a lot different when I compared them.
Christianity- 33%
Islam- 21%
Hinduism- 14%
Buddhism- 6%
Judaism- 0.22%
So far this unit has been overall easy because I learned it all last year but I find I like the unit because it's cool to learn about all the different religions and see what everyone does. Also, it is interesting to learn all about the Eightfold path and the four noble truths and what the rules are.
