Pre Test blog
Today in class I learned a lot more interesting facts about socrates that I didn't know about. The first thing I learned which was the overall main thing is that the unexamined life is not worth living. That phrase really shocked me because I didn't expect it to have such a deep meaning behind it and it really made me think about how life is today vs. back then and I just thought of how much the world has grown and advanced in things since back then. Also I learned that an idiot in Athenian democracy was someone who was self centered which also surprised me because I thought it would be someone who was helpful to others and was willing to teach younger people lessons and teachings and be more useful.
