Map blog
Today in class I learned about the different kinds of maps and how to label certain areas of things on the map. I also learned that the tropics of cancer are called that because they have a special from shipped like a star and that stands for the tropic cancers. Another thing is I learned is how to label the longitude and latitude degrees on a map to find certain and exact points. The equator also goes through the middle of the map. The international date line I learned about has a very specific location, and it doesn't run in a straight line through an exact area it curves and starts in between Alaska and Asia and runs through the alaskan islands.
